Trust me, I get it…

 

I know first hand what it feels like to be uncomfortable in your body, to think about food too much and to feel like the biggest failure when you fail yet again on another diet.

 

I have always had a passion for nutrition and fitness. I remember when I was only 20 years old wanting to be a personal trainer because I thought if I could feel great about my body and teach others the same then I could finally love my body and myself. I worked out regularly until I didn't.  Eventually falling back into old patterns of choosing parties over the gym. I quickly realized that simply knowing the workout moves and how to teach them wouldn’t make me stick with the gym consistently. 

After this, I figured the answer must be in nutrition and learned all there was to know about the latest diets only to realize the same thing, knowing what to do is not the same as knowing how to do it and how to stick with it. 

I was bombarded with contradictory messages. One saying “my diet is the only one that will work”. Another saying “diets are all a fraud, you must change your lifestyle”. Of course, there were seemingly helpful self-love messages as well “love your body the way it is” but I knew I was not living a healthy lifestyle and in turn, wasn't showing my body true love. Whether I did or didn't love my body I still wanted the willpower to stick with a healthy diet and exercise routine and the energy to live life to the fullest. 

Once I even did a half ironman (1.2mile/1.9km swim, 56mile/90km bike, and a 13.1mile/21.1km run) thinking that after that I would definitely have a banging body and a healthy routine. But even then I wasn't happy with my body and stopped training as soon as the race was over. 

The truth is that even though to the outside I didn't seem to have much of a weight problem, if any, it was my thoughts and attitudes around food, fitness and my body that were holding me back from feeling my best.

Over the next few years, I began to find different things that worked. I found workouts I loved and got my certifications and began teaching. I was so excited until I realized my clients weren't getting results. They would only come to my classes once or twice a week for an hour and I had no idea what they were doing or eating the rest of the week. I had a strong desire to help others and myself so I became a nutrition coach. I began putting together a program to help myself and others to lose weight that included fitness and nutrition. But when even that failed me I knew there had to be something more. I used mindset techniques in other areas of my life with great success (creating my own business, moving across the world on more than one occasion, making incredible friends and finding the man of my dreams) so I thought why not use them here. I began creating a program that would allow people to lose weight while feeling full and satisfied, that focused on being active not killing yourself in the gym, and that included mindset shifts that would make the whole process easy and lasting. 

It took me years to sort through what worked and what didn't, to learn new habits and how to stick to them but I did it! And the great news is, it doesn't have to take that long for you. You can reap the benefits of what I have learned starting today.

The support I know could have skyrocketed me to success even faster. For 12 weeks I work one on one with women ready to lose weight, gain energy, increase their self-love and create their most vibrant life. Together we will rewire your brain for success, knocking out limiting beliefs, creating new vibrant beliefs about you and all you are capable of while also creating custom nutrition, movement and lifestyle plans that will fast track you to the body and life of your dreams.
